Source by use case, not country name alone
Turkish ingredient processors and traders can have different purchasing priorities. A manufacturer may value consistent processing characteristics, while a distributor focuses on resale grade and reliable loading windows. Identify which role your business plays and whether you need whole yellow peas, processed material or another specification.
State the destination and border process
Your RFQ should identify a named Turkish port or agreed inland destination, mode of transport and the party responsible for import declarations. Commodity eligibility, import duties, quotas and required certificates may change; the buyer and exporter must verify the currently applicable regime before treating a quotation as executable.
Get a price that can be compared
Include volume, packing, shipment month and exact Incoterm. Ask a prospective exporter to distinguish product cost from freight and other charges. A Turkish buyer should be able to compare at least two complete landed-cost scenarios, accounting for handling and clearance arrangements.
Request a commercial introduction
Send the buying company details, product specification and purchase-order timeframe. A relevant exporter may respond through the introduction service if its route and product match the RFQ. Supplier readiness, registration and payment channels are checked transaction by transaction.

Do you quote in TRY or USD?
Currency is negotiated with an exporter and is not guaranteed by this website.
Can Turkey-bound cargo use FCA?
FCA may be appropriate where delivery is to a carrier or terminal; specify the named place.
Are permits included in the price?
Never assume this. Import and clearance responsibilities belong in the written contract and current local compliance check.
